The numbers are the amount of voice channels (lines) that are active on the service. For eg- an ISDN 20 service has 20 channels and can have 20 simultaneous calls (in or out) active at any 1 time.

Do I need a special phone system for ISDN 10/20/30?

You will need a PRI (Primary Rate Interface) card to connect the ISDN 10/20/30 service into to your phone system. Most phone systems or PABXs are able to take PRI cards, but we recommend double checking this first.
